Revenge

Revenge is a game about obsession, the idea of going so far with an intention that you end up losing yourself and not being able to see around you.

What would happen if a player was told that the way they play a game and the way they commonly get information from a game would change.  What would happen if, rather than having healthbars and counters, a player would only have the background and sound?

This is the core design philosophy behind Revenge.  Developed in Unity, this game attempts to provide tell the player about the status of their character purely through in-game, diegetic visuals.  As the player goes through, the changes that go through the character's mind and body will affect the player.  Experience the main character becoming more & more obsessed as they play through the game.

Through this game, players will see a unique experiment in eliminating non-diegetic UI to create an immersive 2D experience.  The player will have to gain what information they can by paying attention to what is happening and try to achieve their goals, no matter what.
